Since the inception of Freedom’s Watch, I have received countless words of encouragement and support from conservatives across the nation – influential elected officials, prominent business leaders, and ordinary Americans whose day-to-day contributions to this nation are anything but ordinary. This outpouring has validated for me what I already knew: there is a very real and pronounced desire among conservatives for a well-funded, vocal and effective organization that can help shape and influence the critical public policy debates of the day.

MoveOn Moves to the Comics

Who says the New York Times doesn’t have a comic section?

NY Times readers were this morning greeted to a full page cartoon masquerading as a serious issue advertisement courtesy of MoveOn.org.  After previously playing schoolyard name games with General Patraeus, MoveOn spent tens of thousands of dollars (assuming the Times didn’t give it another friendly “discount”) to make a mockery of the situation in Iran.

Your Action Made the Difference

As many of you have heard, over the weekend NBC relented and decided to air the Freedom’s Watch ads wishing our troops a happy holidays.  We are glad that NBC ultimately decided to do the right thing and air the Freedom's Watch television ads supporting our troops.  Thanking our troops is not a political statement – it is a patriotic one.

Freedom’s Watch jumped on to the scene just a few months ago to be a credible, sustainable and well-funded voice for conservative like-minded individuals.  We decided that we needed to create an organization that would be run like a business, but managed as a never-ending campaign.  Over the past few months, I have been amazed by the outpouring of support and the continued success of our ongoing efforts at Freedom’s Watch.  This organization was founded as a steadfast voice for mainstream conservative policies in America – a voice which had been missing in Washington for far too long.
